Coralgate: A Town by the Sea

The city map for Coralgate, the starting location in my upcoming BREAK!! RPG campaign. Can't wait for the players to explore.

We're making steady progress with the map for the upcoming BREAK!! RPG campaign, set to kick off in just a week. Our intrepid group of adventurers will embark on their journey from the vibrant city of Coralgate, perched on the edge of the sea. This town, strategically located to connect the Moonseren River to Leviathan Bay, is a bustling hub of trade, boasting the largest docks on Arconix Isle. Its unique setting and bustling activity promise an exciting start to our campaign.

Working with a New Set of Brushes

This is my second attempt at creating a map using the brushes from MapEffects, and I'm quite satisfied with the results. The City Map Builder set offers a wide array of buildings and monuments to choose from. While this is my first map with this set, I'm still familiarizing myself with it. I'm sharing the map now as I need it for next week, but please note that it might undergo some changes in the future as I continue to refine it.

Additionally, for much of the shading, I used Kyle T. Webster brushes, specifically the watercolor brush. I've always loved the feel of watercolor, so I had to see if I could capture that in digital format. There is some tweaking I need to do, but I'm moving in the right direction.

Free Map For Your Use!

As before, this is a free map. If you enjoy the maps and wish to continue helping this blog grow, feel free to subscribe. It costs nothing, and for now, all the maps I release are free. And, of course, tell others about the maps. The more people who can use them, the better.

Included are a web-based JPG, a full-size JPG, and the original Photoshop file. The fonts and brushes are not included, so you would need to create things in your own way to add and subtract. Oh, and my folder structure is a mess, so I apologize for that.
